EEG Scan

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a lovely Christmas & are enjoying the New Year. I've got a sleep deprivation EEG scan tomorrow, it's totally freaking me out. I hated the last EEG scan that I had last year, so the thought of having another scan & this time to stay awake for the whole night beforehand, I'm not exactly confident that it will go well.

Well the scan was as enjoyable as I remember. Didn't hear what I wanted to hear, infact I didn't get any information that would have made staying awake & feeling like crap worthwhile. Apparently they can tell during the scan if you've had a seizure or not, which would definitely put my mind at ease but unfortunately it was decided that it would be better if I waited a month.

Is it too much to ask to get a straight answer?

Sorry to hear they're messing you around a bit. I kept getting fobbed off with my eeg's in 2007-8. The only answer I kept getting was 'inconclusive' took them 10 months to finally say say yep, they're seizures, by which time they'd progressed
