Tattoo to represent my fight...

Hey..
I'm considering getting a tattoo. I want to get something to show my support, or symbolize my fight with epilepsy. I don't want any words, just images or symbols or something. Does anyone already have one, or have any ideas for one.

That's great idea!!

The colour for Epilepsy is purple, including its varients such as lilac, mauve, and lavander.

Some tattoos I've seen include roses, hearts, butterflies, ribbons, stars, fairies / angels with lilac wings etc.

I was thinking of one day getting a ring of small lavander roses around my wrist, although to be honest I have a phobia of needles, so I'm not entirely sure I'd ever get that far, but the idea is there for the day I feel brave enough!!

Have you had any luck choosing a tattoo hon?

I have a tattoo of a butterfly (purple) this is in memory of my daughter Hazel who passed away from S.U.D.E.P. 05/11/07 she was 17. Take care luv Juliexx

I haven't really chosen anything yet. I've been looking at the symbol from the epilepsy foundation website...the flame looking thing, and maybe making it purple.

I don't see on your profile if you're male or female, but I saw this really awesome design on facebook. I really like it. And if you don't use it, then I may get it as a tattoo on my ankle. :-) I think it's really pretty. It turns an awareness ribbon into a butterfly.
